Put Lecce at the top of your list

My name is Raffaele Tardivo, I live in Adelaide, South Australia and I am the Australian contact for la Scuola di Italiano per Stranieri at the University of Salento in Lecce in Italy.

The purpose of this website is to convince you to put the University of Salento at the top of your list when you are deciding where to study in Italy.

In January 2011 I took my long service leave, went to Italy for three months and enrolled at the University of Salento in Lecce in southern Italy to study Italian for 10 weeks. It was a wonderful experience. One of the best things I have ever done.

The city of Lecce and the School of Italian for Foreigners are two of Italy’s best kept secrets and together they are a winner. Anyone seriously considering going to Italy from Australia to study Italian should put Lecce at the top of their list as their study destination.

My purpose in producing this site is to give you the opportunity to find out about la Scuola di Italiano per Stranieri first hand from someone who has been there as a student.

I am very happy to correspond with you directly by email, in person or by telephone.  I am also available to give presentations to groups.

I also invite you to visit PugliaPassatempo, my blog of the  three months I spent in Italy, share my experiences and to contact me at raffaele.tardivo@adam.com.au if you want to know more about Lecce, the Italian language courses on offer at the university and about life in one of the most beautiful and elegant cities in Italy.

In the meantime why not check out the university's International Students Guide.

You can also subscribe to this website by entering your email address in the "Follow via email" box at the top of this page. That way you will be kept up to date with the latest developments at the  Scuola di Italiano per Stranieri  in Lecce.

In the meantime if you choose the University of Salento and this blog helped you decide, please let them know. Thank you.
